William (Bill) Michael Valiquette, born to Leo Valiquette & Madeline Levine in Ontario, Canada, passed away on January 31, 2015 at the age of 80. Mr. Valiquette, a proud French-Canadian, served in the Canadian Army & later moved to the United States in 1963. He married Pauline on February 14, 1964; this Valentine's Day would've marked their 50th year anniversary. He was preceded in death by his parents & siblings Leontine, Ivan, Carole & Sandra. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, children Connie Perez & Carman Martinez (Vivian), grandchildren Christopher (Katie), Melissa (Christian), Jessica (Vincent) & Gabriel (Monica), siblings Bert (Germaine), Rodolphe (Gislaine), Clinton (late Georgia), Darlene & Kim. He also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren & many friends. Bill will be dearly missed, he will be remembered as a hardworking, kind & giving man. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing & reading. His family will begin receiving visitors at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 4pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. A mass will be held at St. Joseph South San Catholic Church on Friday at 10:30am. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
