Virginia Hughes went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the age of 75 years.  She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 21, 1943 to Walter C. and Lola Hughes. She enjoyed crossword puzzles with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved spending time at the beach with her family, Virginia also took great pride in using technology to keep track of all her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents Walter C. and Lola Hughes; daughter Patricia Ann Moran; sister Nora Chavez.  Virginia is survived by her children, Evelyn Garza (Leonardo), Trisha Moran, Walter Moran, Carolyn Amaya (Mark), Ronald Moran; sister, JoAnn Diaz; grandchildren, Kevin, Kristopher, Kenneth, Kimberly, Alyssa, Isabell, Jacob, Ashton, Nicholas, Nathaniel; great grandchildren Damian, Wyatt, Aubry; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Services will conclude that evening.
