Virginia M. Acevedo

Our beloved mother, Virginia was called home to be with our Lord on January 6, 2018.

Virginia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Espiridion Martinez was married to Guadalupe T. Acevedo. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; daughter, Esther Rios and son, Guadalupe Jr. Acevedo.

Virginia is survived by her children, Mary Jane Hugelier (Scott), Socorro Diaz (Eleazar), Jesse Acevedo (Sylvia), Linda Lou Hernandez, Alvina Garza (Charles), Martha Reyna (Max), Richard Acevedo (Sally), Christine Torralva (Raul) and Jimmy Acevedo. Also included here is Joe Gutierrez whom she loved as her son.

Virginia is also survived by her sisters, Martha Rincon, Hope Esquivel and brothers, Alvino Martinez, and Juan Martinez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Our mother, Virginia devoted her life to God and to her family. We will miss her dearly.

Memorial Service - January 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
