Victoria Garcia Alcantar went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the age of 98 years.  She was born in Muskogee Oklahoma on March 6, 1921 to Ramon and Nicolasa Alcantar.  Victoria was an Honorary Pastor, she enjoyed embroidering, and was President of the Fair Ave. Apartments.  She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Federico Arechiga and Teresa Arechiga; grandsons, Federico Arechiga Jr and wife Gloria, Gilbert Arechiga, and Alfonso Arechiga; sister, Janie Tijerina; brother Santos A. Mojica.  Victoria is survived by her children, David Perez, Hugo Luna and wife Grace, and Leticia Adriana Veracruz; sister, Rosa Hernandez; grandchildren, Robin Lynn Veracruz, Kathryn Lynn Veracruz, Jaime Joseph Luna, David Perez, Jr., Daniel Perez, Anna Borjas (Jesse), Virginia Arechiga; great grandchildren 8; great-great grandchildren 16; and great-great-great grandchildren 4.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, April 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with services to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5th at San Fernando III Cemetery.
