Sylvia Rosa Trevino went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the age of 83 years. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, and cooking. Sylvia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Julian Trevino and her mother, Maria Nuez. She is survived by her children, Marta Amézquita and husband Henry, George A. Trevio, Ruben Trevino and wife Maria Victoria, and Jackie Williams; grandchildren, Cindy Sparks and husband Kyneth, Julin Trevio III, Jessica Renée Leal, and Benjamin Ruben Trevino; great grandchildren, Gwendolyn Williams and Connor Sparks; sister, Elida Reyes. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a family eulogy starting at 6:00 p.m. and a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home on Monday, July 21st at 9:30 a.m. for mass to be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
