Sylvia Bejar went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her children: daughter, Josie Bejar, sons, Anthony Bejar, Mark Bejar, Raul Servin, and her companion, John Ruks. Grandchildren, Stephanie Bejar, Destini Lewis, Ray Servin, Jacob Servin, Dominique Bejar and Richard Bejar-Gillard. She leaves behind numerous sisters and brothers. Our Mom continues to be and inspiration for us to succeed and we will honor her memory forever. She loved everyone, encouraged with her wisdom, loved to read, work crossword puzzles and taking selfies of herself. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
