Stephen Duron, 81, passed away on October 4, 2018 in Bryan, Texas. He was preceded in death by his Sons David Duron, Tony Smith; Sisters Betty and Hope Diaz; Brother Johnny Duron; Grandsons Brian Johnson, Matthew Johnson; Great-Great-Granddaughter Kaylie Valdez;  Best Friend Adolph Herrera. He is survived by his Wife of Twenty-three years Stella G. Duron; Children Shirley Valdez (Pete), Cynthia Hill (Joel), Dominga "Minga" Cortez (Freddie), Stephen "Bimbo" Duron (Elke), Mike Duron (Carmen), Jimmy Duron (Marilyn), Paul Duron, Bobby Smith (Sherri), Ricky Smith (Angie), Kellie Gomez (Jose); Stepchildren Bertha Hernandez, Benito "Benny" Benavides (Jo Ann), Benjamin Benavides (Jazmin); Sister Paula Garza (Joe); Numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Services will conclude on Wednesday.
