Stephanie Slabisak went into her eternal rest on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of thirty-five. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents Charles John Slabisak and Shirley Jean Torres. Stephanie will be remembered as a very devoted mom, daughter, sister, and niece. Stephanie will be held in highest regard for the selfless bravery she showed as a member of the United States Air Force in the Iraq war. She is survived by her two children Brandon Slabisak and Adrianna Escalera; Loving companion, Hector Escalera; Mother, Shirley Jean Torres; siblings, Megan Rose Mackie, and Sarah Jean Leija; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding Stephanie in death are her children Emberly Marie Rodriguez, Emma Jade Rodriguez, Victoria Rose Rodriguez; father, Charles John Slabisak; grandparents, Victor Torres, Mary E. Torres, Charles John Slabisak Sr., Guadalupe Averitt; cousin, Monika Torres.

A memorial mass for Stephanie will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10th at San Juan Capistrano Mission.
