Sergio C. Acevedo, 54, passed away on April 30th, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. Sergio was born in Mexico, to Antanacio and Eloisa Acevedo on May 4th, 1962. He is preceded in death by his Mother Eloisa Carmona Ferniz. Sergio is survived by his: Daughters Cynthia Acevedo, Julissa Rene Amesquita, Laura Christina Acevedo; Grandchildren Breanna Nicole Hernandez, Dereck Andrew Hernandez; Sister Claudia Ferniz Espinoza; Brothers Gonzalo Ferniz, Mario Acevedo, Benito Acevedo. He enjoyed having cookouts for his family while listening to his favorite rock music. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12th, 2017 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 South Flores, San Antonio, Texas 78214. A Graveside Service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12th 2017.
