On March 29, 2015 Russell "Rusty" Glenn Vincent Sr. entered into heaven to be with his precious Lord and savior at the age of 61 years 1 month and 1 day. Rusty is survived by his wife of 20 years Rhonda Silkey of Elmendorf, Texas and his children- Jewel Walker and her husband Jesse of Cameron, NC their children Jake, Andrew and Tyler. Russell Vincent Jr. his wife Bridget of Center Point, Texas their children Kolby, Clay and Casey. Jeannie Blankenship her husband Bobby Jr. of La Vernia, Texas their children Cheyenne, Bobby III and Allison. Randy Vincent his wife Christie of Gueydan, La their children Kaylee, Summer and Addison. Jatanna Sanchez her husband Marcelino of San Antonio, Texas their children Isiel, Lucy and Leilaunne. Joshua Vincent and John Vincent of Elmendorf, Texas. Several nieces and nephews and brother in laws and sister in laws. Rusty was born on February 28, 1954 to Jewel Covey of San Antonio, Texas and Russell G.Vincent of Pecan Island, La in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his Associates in Law Enforcement and enjoyed 25 years of serving his communities with his best buds Robert Evan and Christopher Garrett ending his career in 1999 with the Bexar County Sheriffs Department as a deputy. He enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling and hanging out with his children and grandbabies'. Rusty was surrounded by his loving family when he got God's call home. He is preceded in death by his mother Jewel and his father Russell his father in law Johnny Cook both of his brothers Wallace and Charles Powell and his ex-wife Etta Lehner. Services will be held on Friday April 3, 2015 at 2 pm at Southside Funeral Home.
