Ruben G. Elias entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the age of 68 years. He was born on December 6, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas to Eliazar and Josephine Elias. He enjoyed playing pool and darts. Played softball for many years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Ruben was preceded in death by his Parents Eliazar and Josephine Elias; Sister Yolanda Elias. He is survived by his Siblings Eli Edward Elias, Lila Elias (Richard Serros); Nieces and Nephews April Bernadette Barrios, Eli Edward Elias II, Jesse Tomas Serros, Delilah Castro, Jennifer Nicole Medina, Jonathan Serros; Great-Nieces and Great- Nephews Ethan Dean Barrios, Arkin Resner Barrios, Serenity Faith Serros, Syrena Casamira Serros, Maximus Rey Serros, Mila Josephine Serros, Anthony Ryan Castro, Ayden Jay Castro, Kai Eleu Medina. Memorial Service will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Services will conclude at the Church.
