With heavy hearts we announce that Rosendo Sanchez went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 92 years old. Rosendo was born on April 01, 1933, to his parents Gonzalo and Agapita Sanchez, in San Antonio, Texas. He loved to draw and read in his spare time. Decorating for Christmas was his favorite, as he looked forward to it each year. He has a good sense of humor, that we will miss.

He is survived by his daughter Angela Farias (David), granddaughter Analisa Christine Farias, sister Alicia Schoumacher (Bruce), and also, numerous nieces, and nephews, as well as many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Elia Sanchez, parents, and siblings.

Monday, December 15, 2025, a rosary will be held at Southside Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025, an inurnment will be held at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. at Shelter #2.
