Rosa Sanchez, 62, passed away on October16, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Rosa was born in San Antonio, Texas to Jose Angel and Sofia Longoria, Sr. on August 17, 1956. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Sofia Longoria; brother Raul Longoria. She is survived by Spouse David Medrano; Children Ruby Sanchez, Arthur Sanchez (Sandra Castillo), Roxanne Sanchez, Jennifer Sanchez; Sisters Genoveva Gonzales, Alicia Longoria, Maria Guadalupe Longoria, Estella Falcon ( Ponciano), Norma Longoria; Brothers Joe Longoria (Veronica), Frank Longoria (Dora), Ralph Longoria (Darlene); Grandchildren Emily Rose, Adriah, Nicholas, Christopher, Arturo Jr., Abcde, Sabashtian, Samuel, Jeremyah, Sofie; Great-Granddaughter Avianna; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other family members. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 South Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Francis Cabrini Church, 1606 San Casimiro, San Antonio, Texas 78214. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at San Jose Burial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Southside Funeral Home.
