Richard Castro entered into Rest on January 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Richard was born on March 27, 1936.Richard enjoyed walking the river walk, cultural festivals downtown, he also attended the San Fernando Cathedral. He is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Richard is survived by his children John R. Castro, Claudia Yingling (Clyde), Rolando Castro (Gloria), Rosina Castro, Rene Castro (Nicole), Christopher Castro, Noe Castro; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; six sisters; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores St. San Antonio, Texas 78214. Richard's family will be receiving visitors on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Services will concluded that afternoon.
