Rebecca D. Banda entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 90 years. She was preceded in death by Husband Daniel Banda Sr., Daughter Sylvia Ybarbo, Grandson Eric Ybarbo. Rebecca loved gardening and sewing, she also enjoyed puzzles and painting. She is survived by Children Rachel B. Medina (Gilbert), Hope Mahnken (Carl), Fred Banda (Laurie), Carlos Banda (Janet), Daniel Banda, Jr. (Annette), Mario Banda (Grace), Celia Johnsen (M.B.) Gloria Saldana (Samuel), Xavier Banda (Melissa); Twenty-Three Grandchildren; Twenty-five Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a recitation of the holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
