Raymond David Donato, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the age of 50 . Raymond was born on October 11, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas. Raymond loved working concerts, traveling, passion for music and sports. Always willing to help anyone in need. He could always strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. He also enjoyed going on vacations with family and friends. Raymond is survived by his wife Edith M. Donato of twenty-eight years of marriage; daughter Stephanie M. Donato; son Raymond D. Donato, Jr.; mother Janie Donato (Tony); father Raymond S. Donato; brother Eric J. Donato (Krystal). He loved his family, in-laws, and always considered his niece Francine and nephews Randy and Eric like his own. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 South Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 with an 10:00 a.m. departure from Southside Funeral Home for a 10:30 a.m. graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery III.
