Ramon G. Borrego Jr. entered eternal rest on December 16, 2025, at the age of 81. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon F. and Estanislada G. Borrego, his four brothers, one sister and his stepson, Richard Lawson.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Gloria Borrego, stepdaughter, Deborah Villarreal, children, Michael Borrego (Rebecca), Raquel Borrego, and Christina Buck (Jeremy), eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, his brother, Emilio Borrego (Margie), along with numerous family members and friends whose lives he enriched with his kindness and humor.

Raymond was a dedicated family man who found joy in helping others. For over sixty years, he worked as a self-employed truck driver, taking pride in his profession. An accomplished mechanic, Raymond's resourcefulness, ingenuity and resilience were evident in his work and daily life. He exemplified dedication and perseverance, inspiring those around him.

Raymond's warmth and positive spirit made a lasting impact on all who knew him. His smile, sense of humor and hearty laughter will always be remembered. Visitation will begin on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Southside Funeral Home from 5:30PM-8PM with a prayer service at 7PM.Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 with a 10:30AM departure from Southside Funeral Home for interment at San Jose Burial Park.
