Rafaela G. Casillas entered into Heaven on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the age of 55. She was born to Rebecca Luna and Concepcion Sanchez on August 27, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and son Julian Casillas, Jr. Rafaela is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Julian Casillas and their children Sylvia Moreno (Francisco), Jesse Anthony Sanchez Casillas (Letisia), Gracie Ann Casillas. Grandchildren Desiree Casillas, Julian Casillas, Jonathan Casillas, Dana Casillas, Rebekah Moreno, Francisco Moreno, Jr., Isaiah Moreno; brothers Martin Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, Roger Sanchez, Robert Sanchez; sisters Delma Rivas, Joann Sanchez, Mary Alice Martinez. Numerous nieces and nephews. She loved being a mom and grandmother.

Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park .
