Rachel Mendoza entered into Heaven on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the age of 66. She was born to Belen Villegas and Ramon De La Rosa on November 11, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Daniel, Raquel, Ramon, and Martha. Rachel is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Johnny Mendoza and their children Johnny, Jr., Jay & wife Lynette, Roman & wife Christa, Paul, Melissa and Mark. Rachel was also blessed with her grandchildren Johnny III, Jedidiah, Zedikiah, Nickolas, Justin, Lauren, Destiny, Desiree, Alexis, August, Xavier, Mikaylah, Kaytlin, Xenia, Xophia, Isaiah, Asia and Miley. Rachel is also survived by her siblings Thomas, Mario, Rose Ann, Ronnie, Ramon, Solomon and Robert. Rachel will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Her family will be receiving visitors from 5pm-9pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm.
