Philip Lawrence Cowett, 58, of San Antonio, passed away on August 11th, 2017.

Philip was born in San Antonio to Jack and Dorothy Cowett on May 27th, 1959. He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his Mother Dorothy Mae Cowett.

Philip is survived by Father, Jack D. Cowett; Brothers David Cowett (Linda), Mark Cowett (Sabrina) and Daniel Cowett (Adrian); Step Children Scott and Lisa; Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 South Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78214.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at Southside Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Southside Funeral Home.
