Petra Elizondo, went into eternal rest and entered the kingdom of our lord on February 24, 2021. Petra was born on October 28, 1953. Petra is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Vasquez and Nicolasa Esquivel. Husband, Luis Elizondo. Daughter, Esmeralda Hernandez. Sons, Reynaldo Elizondo and Luis Elizondo Jr.. Petra is survived by her daughter, Roselvia Elizondo. Son, Miguel Elizondo (Vanessa). Daughter in Law, Belinda Elizondo. 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great-grandchildren, 3 sisters. Numerous other family members and a host of friends. Petra enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loving family. Petra was a prayer warrior and loved speaking to the woman about God. She was very spiritual, always offering advice and prayer to everyone. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 20, 2021 at Southside Funeral Home from 11am-3pm with a prayer service at 1pm. All services will conclude at 3pm.
