Pedro V. Ayala entered into rest on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the age of 94 years. His passion in life was baseball. Pedor played softball for Pete's Electric team for many years.He was preceded in death by his wife Estella Bridga Ayala. Pedro is survived by his children; Juanita Banda, Pedro M. Ayala, Jose Santos Ayala and wife Margie, Manuela Jaso and husband Ricardo, Anita G. Ayala, Jesus Ayala and wife Sylvia, and Carmen Ayala; brother, Guadalupe Ayala; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00a.m. at the Southside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
