Ophelia R. Flores entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the age of 95 years. She was born on November 29, 1926 in Poth, Texas to Indicilico and Guadalupe Romero. She was a member of the Guadalupana's at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Loved to go fishing and taking rides to the Country. She also enjoyed gardening. Ophelia was preceded in death by her Daughter Janie Chavarria; Parents Indicilico and Guadalupe Romero; and her siblings. She is survived by her Children Emma Favela, Margaret Ann Vaughn (Harland); Five Grandchildren; Numerous Great-Grandchildren; Brothers Isidro Romero (Helen), Jesus Romero. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart Southside Funeral Home at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 for a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Lorenzo Cemetery.
