Olivia S. Hernandez went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the age of 79 years.  She loved playing Bingo and dancing.  Olivia was an avid Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan.  Her favorite players being, #9 Tony Romo and #20 Manu Ginobili.  Olivia was preceded in death by her son, Carlos Vega; mother, Rosie Rodriguez; brother, Edward Perez.  She is survived by her loving husband of fifteen years, Daniel R. Hernandez; son, Ernest Vega Sr. (Rosalinda); daughters, Kimberly Martinez (Jorge), Angela Hernandez; grandchildren, Jonathan, Zachary, George, Olivia, Rafaela, Ernest Jr.; nine great grandchildren; sister, Molly Segura; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, September 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13th at Mission Burial Park South.
