With great sadness we announce the passing of beloved Norma G. Barbosa, who went into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 64 years of age. Norma was born on May 11, 1960, to her parents Tanislado and Dora Gonzales, in San Antonio, Texas. Norma had a few hobbies she adored which included gardening, dancing, going to the beach. She especially adored spending time with her family.  She is survived by her husband Juan Barbosa with forty-five years of marriage, three children: Emily Alva (Raymond), Arthur Barbosa, and Drew Barbosa (Seline), father Tanislado H. Gonzales, siblings: David Gonzales (Virginia), Roland Gonzales (Letty), Danny Gonzales (Linda), Delma Lee (Johnathan). She was preceded in death by her mom Dora Garza, and grandmother Maria Jesusita Garza. A visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral service will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. interment will follow to Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
