Nellie Mae Hunnicutt, born September 10, 1927, entered eternal rest on December 31, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, A.E. Hunnicutt; parents, Jessie and Mammie Nicholas; son, A.E. Hunnicutt Jr., daughter, Barbara McBride and son-in-law, Larry McBride Sr.. Nellie is survived by her grandson, Larry McBride Jr and his wife Jamie (Jones) and six great grandchildren: Lane, Liam, Logan, Lincoln, Leila, and Lilah. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Sunday, January 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 5th at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South Cemetery.
