Michael Aaron Bonham went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 6, 2019. He was 31 years old. He was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, where he attended Earl Warren High School. Michael had a beautiful, free spirit that led him on many awesome adventures within his short time here. At a young age his mother introduced him, his brothers and sister to the Texas coastline. Whether it was fishing, tanning, digging for hermit crabs or building sandcastles, it was where he was always at his happiest. He was a wonderful, doting Son, a hilarious, loving Brother, a protective, caring Uncle, and so, SO much more. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard R. Bonham, Sr., grandparents Ellen L. Dowlearn (Mimi), James A. Dowlearn (Pawpaw), Barry Bonham (Paco), great grandmother, Evelyn Fuller Ellis (Granna), and his beloved dog, Carmen. Michael is survived by his mother, Kozette Bonham, sister, Jessica Martinez and husband Amado, brothers, Jason Whatley and Richard R Bonham, Jr., grandmother, Sue Bonham (Mamaw), nephews and nieces Jeremy, Andrew, Allie Martinez and Jillian Whatley; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Michael always loved the tattoo on his dads arm; a beautiful ocean sunset flanked by two palm trees.…That warm, blissful place under those palms is exactly where he will be, waiting for his loved ones to join him. We love you, Michael. You will forever be missed and live eternally within our hearts. For information regarding services, please contact his Mother, Kozette.
