Mario Martinez, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the age of 39 years. He was preceded in death by his Father Mario Martinez, Sr.; Niece Celia Trinity King. Mario is survived by his Mother Amelia Martinez; Children Aolani Vidales, Scarlett Martinez, Penelope Martinez, Nobalee Martinez; Sister Celia Teresa King (Robert); Former Spouse Ayola Villarreal.

Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5pm-9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes, TX on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:30am with a Holy Mass to be celebrated at 12:30pm. After mass, family and friends will gather at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (Shelter 4) for Military Honors and committal service at 2:45pm
