Maria de Refugio Uriegas was born on March 25, 1922, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 31, 2014. She enjoyed music and dancing and going to church. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Uriegas; sons, Richard and Sammy Uriegas; daughter, Socorro Uriegas; also numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Miguel Uriegas from San Antonio, Joe Uriegas from Bandera, and Henry Uriegas from Dallas. Also survived by sisters, Trinidad Uriegas from San Antonio, Patsy Hinojosa from Corpus Christi; brother, Manuel Delgado from San Antonio; grandchildren, Leslie Uriegas, Henry Uriegas Jr., Lorie Acuna, Victoria Uriegas, Amelia Uriegas, Jose Erasimo III, and Jake Tanner; fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
