Maria Elena Tovar went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2021, at the age of 80.

Maria is preceded in death by her Parents Manuel and Juanita Garcia; Siblings Julio Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Oralia Carmona and Genoveva Juarez.

Maria is survived by her Children Mary Rojas, Margaret Tovar Pantiga and Manuel Tovar; 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren; Siblings Eloy Garcia and Susie Rodriguez.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Mission San Francisco De La Espada Catholic Church, 10040 Espada Road, San Antonio, Texas 78214. Interment will immediately follow at Espada Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Southside Funeral Home.
