Maria B. Mora went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the age of 80 years. She was a member of the Guadalupe Senior Center and Texas Nurses Association. Maria enjoyed traveling and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her former husband and the father of their daughters, Carmelo Reyna and her brother, Albert Barrera. She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Reyna Martinez and husband Don and Elizabeth Reyna; granddaughter, Marianna Coindreau and husband Mark; brothers, Vicente Barrera and Augustine Barrera and wife Anita; sisters, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Amelia Cavazos, and Celia Gonzales and husband Gilbert; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27th for a 10:30 a.m. mass to be celebrated at St. Joseph's (South San) Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
