Survivors include her longtime faithful companion, Hidrolfo "Rudy" Barro; father, Miguel "Mike" Gonzalez (Cristina); siblings, John Anthony Battista (Erica Lopez), Michelle M. Lerma (Hector), Marlene Gonzalez, Miguel "Mikey" Gonzalez Jr., Robert Joseph Battista, and Manuel "Manny" Luis Gonzalez (Melissa Hernandez); paternal grandmother, Carmen Davila; maternal uncle, Charles Harrison (Concepcion); maternal aunt, Margaret Groomer (George); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, from 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM, at the Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores, San Antonio, Texas, 78214. All services will conclude in the chapel. The family would like to give their most sincere thanks to ENT, Urology, and Internal Medicine at University Hospital, Linda and Erica Lopez, and a special thanks to Sharlene and Lucy Ann, her cousins, who went the extra miles to visit her in San Antonio.
