Maria D. Hernandez went into eternal rest on July 28, 2020 at the age of 96. Maria was born on July 21, 1924 in Mexico. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Ruth. Maria is survived by her loving children, Gilberto Hernandez (Guadalupe), Jesus Hernandez (Beatriz), Abraham Hernandez, San Juanita Sanchez (Catarino), Hermelinda Torres. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother, Ramon Vaquera. Sisters; Consuelo Trejo, Elva Guel. Visitation will begin on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores San Antonio, Texas 78214 from 4pm-9pm with the reciting of the holy rosary at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 10, 2020 with a 9:30am departure from Southside Funeral Home for a 10am mass of resurrection at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
