Maria Isabel Fuentes

Maria Isabel Fuentes went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, October 23, 2026 at the age of 79. She was born in Santa Ana, Pinos, Mexico on February 26, 1947 to Alberto Pina Cardenas and Adolfino Alvarez Jimenez. When Maria was in the 3rd grade, she left school to help her family. Maria loved cooking for and spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling and praying. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Regulo Fuentes; her sons, Roger and Miguel Fuentes and her parents. She is survived by her children, Maribel Fuentes and her husband, Carlos Herrera, Guadalupe Fuentes Sanchez and her partner, Raul Fuentes and Miguel Angel Fuentes; grandchildren, Vanessa, Jonathan, Roger, Marilyn, Lauren, Gabriel, Marycarmen, Aleesa, Leonard, Maximus, Deleana, and Leilani; also numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; Siblings, Elisa Pina, Maria Zamores, Maria de Jesus Pina; son-in-law, James Garcia and his wife, Tawni Raye; Companion, Thomas Aguirre.

Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, October 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude Thursday evening, as it was Maria wishes to be cremated.
