Maria Guadalupe Cothren entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 86 years. She was born on September 21, 1935 in Karnes City, Texas to Yosevel and Larncia Ramos. Maria was preceded in death by her Husband Samuel H. Cothren; Daughter Janie Delgado. She is survived by her Son Joey Cothren; Son-in-law Johnny Delgado; Grandchildren John, Jeffrey, Joseph, Jennifer, Julie, Christina, Sarah, Sean; Numerous Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart Southside Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
