Maria Theresa Alvarez entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the age of 63 years. She was preceded in death by her father Jose Salinas; daughter in law Veronica Lancaster; uncle Trinidad Trevino. Maria is survived by her husband Pedro "Pete" Alvarez; children Jose Alvarez, Jennifer Alvarez ( Richard Mata); grandchildren Kayla Mancera, Alexandria Mancera, Ezekiel Mancera (Merina Lopez), Jrake Mata, Styles Mata; great-grandchild Venellope Mancera; parents Frank Rangel, Maria Theresa Salinas; siblings Sandra Fonseca (Joe), Mary Elva Yanes (Enulio), Virginia Massiate, Pedro Salinas, Jose Salinas Jr. (Velma Lopez), Giselle Rivera (Beatrice). Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Southside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
