Margarito P. Lara, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the age 78.

Margarito P. Lara was born on February 22, 1942 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Wenseslado and Camila Lara.

Margarito is survived by his Wife Virginia Lara; Children Zaneli, Elizabeth, Felipe; Grandchildren Cristobal A. Romo, Adrian Romo, Ricky Islas, Bethany Islas, Nathaniel Islas, Zeth Islas; Great-Granddaughter Jenesis Islas. Numerous brothers, sisters, and nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 South Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home on Monday, August 24 ^th at 9:30 a.m. for mass to be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
