Margaret Smith entered into Rest on November 13, 2016 at the age of 81. She was born to Martin and Lucinda Saenz San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Arthur S. Smith, Sr., and son Larry Smith. She is survived by her children Samuel Smith, Jr., Evelyn Smith, Laura (Ronald) Iden, Henry Smith; Grandchildren Katie Lehman, Kristie Zapata, Sammy Smith, David Iden, Rhonda Smith and Ginger Smith; Seven great-grandchildren; Brothers Martin Saenz, Steve Saenz; Sister Betty Quintanilla. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Her family will begin receiving visitors on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 5p.m. at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores with a Rosary at 7p.m. On Tuesday, November 22, 2016 Funeral will depart at 8:15 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 8:30 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
