Margaret Marie Farr, age 82, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in North East, Maryland.  She was known by most people as Granny.  Margaret retired from San Antonio Indepdent School District in 2003.  She cherished feeding her birds, taking care of her plants and flowers.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed playing majong and coloring.  Margaret was also very passionate about taking care of her dogs, Dirt, Stinker and Taco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius T and Zella Hall; her beloved husband, Earney Falice Farr; her four brothers, Ed Hall, Junior Hall, Clarence Reese and Barney Reese; one sister, Ellen Whisman and one granddaughter, Amanda Miller.  She is survived by her brother, Martin Lee Hall (Linda); children, Ricky Joe Miller and Robert Timothy Farr (Jackie), all of North East, Maryland.  She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Robert Farr (Lesha), Rosie Farr, Jessie Elliott (Frank); nine great grandchildren, Elijah, Anna, Jacob, Isaac, Faith, Catherine, Timmy, Emma, Rebecca and one on the way.

Visitation, for Margaret, will be held at Southside Funeral Home,  on Monday, August 24th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Graveside serviices will be hel at San Jose Burial Park, on Tuesday, August 25th at 11:30 a.m.
