Lydia G. Medina went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2015 at the age of 78. She is survived by her children, Norma Garcia and husband Joseph, Anna "Cindy" Romero, Roy Andrew Medina and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Nathan,Juan "L.J.", Savannah, Katrina, Joseph, Crystal, Roy Jr., Julian, Charlene, Valerie; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Salome Gonzales, Frank Gonzales, Nicho Gonzales; sisters, Elfida Trevino, Gloria Gonzales, Mary Closna, Anita Smith. Lydia is preceded in death by her parents, Salome and Maria Gonzales; brothers, Pete, Atnacio, Pablo; sisters, Cata and Laura; grandchildren, Angel and Anthony. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and cooking.Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 3rd beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, February 4th at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at Mission Burial Park South.
