With very heavy hearts we announce that Lydia Guerrero went into her eternal rest on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 82 years old. Lydia was born on January 06, 1943, to her parents Roman and Carmel Morales, in Kenedy, Texas. Preceded in death by husband: Pedro Guerrero, Sisters: Jovita Morales Palacios, Isabel Morales Gonzalez, Adelina Morales Castillo, Ydelia Morales Garcia, and brother: Ramon Morales. Survived by son: Oscar Guerrero (Anna) and grandchildren: Amilynn, Alexander, Sebastian, Simon, Derek and Delyla. A memorial service will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. An inurnment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for Lydia will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 10:15 a.m. at shelter #2
