Luis E. Resendis entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the age of 95 years.  He was born in Mexico City, Mexico on February 23, 1925 to Juan and Luz Resendis.  Luis enjoyed bar-b-quing, cooking, and gardening.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ines Resendis; his parents and his brothers and sisters.  Luis is survived by his children, Elias Jimenez (Margarita), Olivia R. Resendis, Teresa R. Resendis, Virginia Contreras (Johnny), Francisco Resendis (Carol); sister, Juanita Rojas; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Sunday, June 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 15th  for Mass to be celebrated at Mission San Jose at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
