Lucy G. Gomez went into eternal rest on July 29, 2019 at the age of 70. Lucy is preceded in death by her parents; Donicio Garcia and Eloisa Gomez. Her husband; Julian Gomez Sr. Son: Julian Gomez Jr. Daughter; Cindy Gomez. Brother; Narcisco Garcia. Sisters; Beatrice Robles, Betsy Avila, and Virginia Resendez. Who are all rejoicing with her in the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. She is surivied by her two daughters; Tina Gomez-Ramos (Ruben), and Stephanie Gomez. Son; Johnny Hernandez. Grandchildren; Julie, Corinne, Christine, Joshua, Sarah. Great-Grandchildren; Sebastian, Aiden, Atlas, Cameron, Kaleb, Ariana, Atika. Sisters; Annie Partida, Gloria Garcia, Jeannie Miraval. Also, numerous niece's nephew's and a host of friends.  Lucy had a passion for the Tejano music industry traveling around the country to see various artist. Her greatest passion was her love for her children and grandchildren. Lucy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Thursday August 1, 2019 at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores San Antonio, Texas 78214 from 3pm-9pm with the reciting of the holy rosary at 7pm. It was Lucy's wishes to be cremated. All services will conclude at 9pm.
