Lovigildo Perez Montez, Jr., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the age of 59 years. He enjoyed family gatherings and bar-b-que's. Lovigildo was preceded in death by his parents, Lovigildo, Sr. and Rita Montez. He is survived by his sisters, Elisia Aguirre, Lina Pena, Imelda Flores, and Lupe Montez; brothers, Rafael Montez and wife Rosa Maria and Raul Montez and wife Pat; stepmother, Cleotilde Montez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lovigildo took fond memories with him of his step-son, R.C. and step-daughter, Shelly and her children. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Monday, November 25th from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26th for mass to be celebrated at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Kenedy, TX at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
