Katherine A Ybarra born September 12, 1932 in Bryan TX entered into rest on February 4, 2016 in San Antonio TX at age of 83. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tomas C Ybarra; parents, Ben Alva, Carolina &Domingo Gutierrez; sons, Carlos & Arturo "Buster" Ybarra; grandson, Frank Thomas Frye; siblings, Minnie Garcia & Benny Alva; mother- in-law, Francisca Ybarra; sisters- in-law, Lencha Becerra & Nora Garcia. Katherine is survived by daughters, Patricia Ann Sepulveda (Sam), Yolanda Phipps ,Frances Henson (Phil) ,Caroline Caldera (Miguel) & Cindy Ybarra; grandchildren, Mark Frye, Raquel & Sammy Sepulveda, Sarah D. Hayhurst, Nathan Phipps, Jody & James Tidwell, Arturo Caldera & Joseph Zachary Ybarra. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from, 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Southside Funeral Home 6301 Flores. Funeral Services will resume Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Funeral Home followed by interment at San Jose Burial Park.
