Julie Elizabeth Dodge went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the age of 59 years. In her younger years, Julie enjoyed playing the piano. She was a very proud supporter of the ASPCA. Julie believed in protecting and saving animals, especially her cats. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Marie Kessler Spell; brother, Richard Sexton, and brother-in-law, Bennie Smith. Julie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer King and Scott Richter; grandchildren, Zoe Aiyana, Lena, and Charles Richter; sisters, Lynda Darlene Smith and Rebecca Ann Stevens; brother, Charles Frederick Sexton; nieces, Jessica Smith, Erika Leaky, and Heather Fishback; nephew, Samuel Stevens; and her best friend, Sandra Sue Hartin. Funeral services will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Saturday, April 30 th at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
