Julia Martinez entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the age of 81 years.  She loved shopping, playing Bingo, working crossword puzzles and watching the San Antonio Spurs play.  Julia was preceded in death by her daughter, Iris Maxwell.  She is survived by her son, Ray Martinez and wife Diana; grandchildren, Melanie, Ray Jr., Stephanie, Celestina, Jeremy and Valerie; great grandchildren Shadé, Caitlyn, Adam, Lilly, Jackson, Noah, Emery, Shaelyn, Anthony, Zachary and Dylan; great-great grandson, Zachary Jr.; brothers, Angel and Johnny Martinez; aunt, Margaret Gonzales.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 16th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, March 17th at 10:30 a.m. for Graveside Services to be held at First Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.
