Juan Ramon Zapata went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the age of 65 years.  He was born on February 27, 1954 to Crescencio and Gloria Zapata.  Juan enjoyed music, dancing, and working on cars.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Isidro Zapata.  Juan is survived by his children, Laura Caldera, Joanna Zapata, Juan Ramon Zapata Jr., and Marisol Zapata; sisters, Maria Mendoza, Martha Ramos, Graciela Espinoza, and Gavina Galdamez; brothers, Jesse, Oscar, Julian, and Baldemar Zapata; grandchildren, Mark Caldera, Gilbert Caldera Jr., Priscilla Caldera, Guadalupe Zapata, Rene Zapata, Juan Angel Zapata, Christopher Zapata, Robert Cantu III, Israel Cantu, Xavier Cantu, Bella Cantu; ten great grandchildren.  Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22nd at Genesis Baptist Church, with services to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will conclude at the church on Friday evening.
