Juan Matias Vega, born on February 5, 1959 to Juan Matias R. Vega and Francisca Cantu, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2016 at the age of 56. Juan is survived by his mother; children, Andrea Monique Vega Harris and husband Michael and Lucas Matias Vega and wife Cassandra Ann; siblings, Juan Antonio Vega and wife Socorro, Jesus Guadalupe Vega and wife Yolanda, Raul Vega and wife Belinda and Martha Vega; and grandchildren, Shilah, Arwen and Ian. He is preceded in death by his father. A visitation for Juan will begin on Wednesday, January 27th at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Southside Funeral Home. Funeral services will resume on Thursday, January 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church followed by burial at San Fernando II Cemetery.
