Juan Garcia Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 5, 2020 at the age of 58 years.  He was born in Laredo, Texas on March 24, 1962.  Juan loved animals and gardening.  He enjoyed being with his family, especially his children.  Juan was a parishioner of El Carmen Catholic Church.  He loved helping his neighbors and was a cyclist.  Juan was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Guadalupe Garcia; parents, Juan and Zeferina Garcia.  He is survived by his children, Juan Garcia III, Abigail Michelle Garcia, Samantha Isabella Garcia, Gabriel Alejandro Garcia; brothers, Ignacio Garcia (Victoria), Jose Alfredo Garcia (Celina); sisters, San Juana Garcia, Eva Delia Jimenez (Juan Enrique), Olga Lydia Perez (Larry E.), Gloria Enedelia De Luna (Juan Jose); also numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral on Friday, October 16th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 17th for Mass to be celebrated at El Carmen Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in El Carmen Catholic Cemetery.
